Two free puzzles a day, the same for every player. In Daily Country Shape you name one country from its outline in six guesses, with distance and direction hints after each miss. Daily Higher or Lower gives you ten comparisons from one category, from country populations to the size of galaxies.
Both reset at midnight in your own time zone. There is no account and no timer: your progress, statistics and streaks stay in this browser, and you can share a result that never gives the answer away.
New puzzles every day at midnight
Guess today’s country from its outline, with distance and direction hints.
Ten higher-or-lower rounds from today’s category. Score out of 10.
A shared Daily Country Shape result looks like this, with one line per guess: five squares for how close the guess was, then an arrow toward the answer.
Daily Country Shape #12 3/6 🟩🟩🟩⬜⬜↗️ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟨⬅️ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🎉
Each day shows the outline of one of 197 countries, north up and resized to fit. Type a country to guess; suggestions appear as you type. Every wrong guess shows how far it is from the answer, an arrow pointing toward the answer and a proximity score, where 100% is the answer itself. The order of countries is shuffled, and none repeats until all 197 have come up.
Each day plays ten comparisons from one category, following this rotation. Every round counts and a wrong answer does not end the game, so your score is out of 10.
If a category’s data cannot be loaded or is past its freshness limit, that day’s puzzle uses the scale of the universe instead, which ships with the game. Play Daily Higher or Lower
At midnight in your own time zone. Players in different time zones move to the next puzzle at different moments, but everyone playing on the same calendar date gets the same one.

Not yet: each page plays today’s puzzle. An unfinished puzzle can be finished until midnight; after that, the page starts the new day’s puzzle (a page left open keeps its puzzle until you choose the new one).
