Compare two skyscrapers and choose whether the building on the right is higher or lower. Each correct answer extends your streak. One mistake ends the run.
How to play
- Two buildings appear side by side (stacked on a phone). The first shows its architectural height in metres; the second keeps its value hidden.
- Decide whether the second one is higher or lower and press Higher or Lower.
- The hidden value counts up and your answer is judged. When you are right, the second card moves across and a new one takes its place.
- One wrong answer ends the run. There is no timer, and values stay fixed for the whole run. The two heights in a pair always differ by at least 10 m, and photographs are not to scale.
- Your result is saved in this browser. Once enough people have played a game, the results also show how your score ranks, and you can copy or share an image of your result, or replay.
Understanding the comparison
Spires count, antennas do not. A building’s silhouette and number of floors can help, but the photographs are not to scale.

A spire and an antenna are not interchangeable
Architectural height follows the building’s designed top, including architectural spires. Antennas and other technical equipment are treated differently. A tallest-building list using roof height or highest occupied floor can therefore produce another order.
Photos are not measurements: viewpoint, cropping and neighbouring buildings can make a shorter tower look dominant. Compare the stated architectural-height measure and use the source notes for unusual tops rather than counting the visible floors.
How this measure is defined
We use architectural height from the lowest significant outdoor pedestrian entrance to the architectural top, following CTBUH. Only completed buildings appear; observation towers are excluded. Values are rounded to metres and pairs differ by at least 10 m. Individual sources are listed under How to play.
