About this game
Choose whether the mountain on the right reaches a higher or lower elevation than the one on the left. Keep answering correctly to build your streak.
Understanding the comparison
Compare elevation above sea level. A mountain rising from a high plateau can reach a higher summit than a dramatic peak near the coast. Photographs are not to scale.
How this measure is defined
Elevations come from national mapping, park and tourism agencies and UNESCO. We use the named summit’s elevation above sea level, not prominence or height from the base. Values are displayed to the nearest metre; pairs differ by at least 20 m. Sources and summit notes are available in How to Play.
