Which cryptocurrency has the larger market cap?

Compare cryptocurrency market capitalizations. Decide whether the item on the right has a higher or lower value. Correct answers extend your streak and move to the left automatically; one mistake ends the run. Values remain fixed for your run, and source information is listed under How to play. There is no timer.

How to play

  1. Two coins appear side by side (stacked on a phone). The first shows its market cap in US dollars; the second keeps its value hidden.
  2. Decide whether the second one is higher or lower and press Higher or Lower.
  3. The hidden value counts up and your answer is judged. When you are right, the second card moves across and a new one takes its place.
  4. One wrong answer ends the run. There is no timer, and values stay fixed for the whole run. Two values that read the same are never paired.
  5. Your result is saved in this browser. Once enough people have played a game, the results also show how your score ranks, and you can copy or share an image of your result, or replay.

Understanding the comparison

Market capitalization combines a coin’s price with its circulating supply. A low-priced coin can have a larger market cap than a high-priced coin. This is different from fully diluted valuation.

Frequently asked questions

How is a coin’s market cap calculated?

Its price multiplied by its circulating supply. A low-priced coin can have a larger market cap than a high-priced one. This is not the fully diluted valuation.

Which coins are included?

The top 250 assets by US dollar market cap returned by CoinGecko, leaving out any with missing or zero values.

How often is the data updated?

Once a day. Values stay fixed during your run.

Is this investment advice?

No. The game is for fun and learning. It compares values from a dated snapshot, not returns, forecasts or recommendations.

Top 250 returned assets by USD market capitalization; assets with missing or zero metrics are excluded. Values stay fixed throughout a run.

The collection date tells you when we retrieved the source, not when every underlying observation was made. A failed refresh does not advance that date. For comparisons, the snapshot loaded for your run supplies the answers.
